Message From The Director
Michael O. Kowuor
Victoria Agricultural & Environmental Conservation Organization (VIAGENCO) is a community-based organization (CBO) that was registered on 14th December 1997 in the Mbita sub- County of Homabay County. I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to our website. With due respect, I take pleasure to appreciate all the board executive members, the management, staff volunteers, and the entire communities we serve whose inputs have kept the organization rolling through 1997 to date. Secondly, may I take the honor to express my sincere gratitude to our donors and partners for their endless support to VIAGENCO. May God lift you to greater heights. VIAGENCO has created a niche in the stakeholder’s profiles VIAGENCO as a dependable, organized, and available partner in a matrix of responses, collaboration efforts as well as coordination of programmers and activities in the entire county. If we play our full roles, am confident we will write our names in VIAGENCO`S history books. May I remain firm in hope unruffled by self-interest and guided by our almighty Father. Thank you! God bless VIAGENCO. God bless Kenya

Mr. Benson Oswago
Executive Board ChairmanIt’s a great and honorable thing to touch the lives of vulnerable community members. As mirrored in the VIAGENCO Mission, I take pleasure in being part of the noble team that continues to empower and capacity-build vulnerable families (within the communities where VIAGENCO operates) to maximize their own limited resources for a sustainable and desirable community. I look forward to seeing a just community where hope, compassion, and support are assured for vulnerable populations.
Mr. Mark Oketch
Board TreasurerWe gave ourselves a challenge and noble task to always put first the issues, problems, and challenges of our community. Since 1997, when the organization was incepted, this has been our calling, and we have done it in ways that revealed the true nature of servant leadership. We pride ourselves on implementing transparent activities, projects, and programs. We have always purposed to involve the community in each implementation process/phase. I want to believe this has brought us this far, and still would enable us to serve with great community trust, transparency, and great success.
